In 1981 Mike Evertsen moved to Salt Lake City from Hawaii where he worked for Beehive Tours & Travel as a tour guide. Finding the diversity and the uniqueness of the Greater Avenues Historical District he purchase a home and settled in. Starting first as a property manager for Goodwill Investments, Mike quickly found himself missing the day-to-day contact with everyday people in the residential real estate market.
In 1983 Mike launched his residential real estate career and quickly became one of the most successful real estate agents in the history of the Greater Avenues Historical District. "Mike Evertsen, The Avenues Specialist" was the nickname given to him by clients and peers. Very few agents have come close to selling the number of Avenues homes that Mike has over his tenure.
